Situation on the container freight market remains tense / High costs and delays still prevalent
The global market for logistics and goods traffic is still very much out of sync: according to PIE’s research, freight costs for 40-foot containers from China to northern Europe have stabilised a little but, following a further escalation of prices due to the blockage on the Suez Canal, costs are now stuck at an astronomical level.
