EU new car registrations down sharply in H1 / Battery-powered vehicles enjoy gains / Components makers continue to struggle
Declining and choppy European vehicle production seems to have become the norm, and fewer sales means even more difficult times for everyone involved in the industry. The number of new passenger cars registered in the European Union fell 14% in the first six months of 2022 versus the same period last year, according to the European automobile manufacturers association ACEA.
