PVC: Inovyn announces production shutdown in Martorell / Tunnel between France and Spain closed

— By PIE staff — Since 2 February, the plants of PVC producer Inovyn, part of the Ineos group, have been shut down at its Spanish site in Martorell. The reason for this is the closure of the nearby Pyrenees rail tunnel close to Rubí for safety reasons following a rockfall. The tunnel is part of an important rail link between France and Spain.
